Founded in 1990, Layers (The House of PCB Design) soon reached a certain name and reputation as a leading PCB layout bureau in the Benelux. In 2008, Layers joined forces with Dekimo, to diversify its activities and extend them with hardware and software development.

Founded in 1990, Layers (The House of PCB Design) soon reached a certain name and reputation as a leading PCB layout bureau in the Benelux. In 2008, Layers joined forces with Dekimo, to diversify its activities and extend them with hardware and software development.
It was rebranded to Dekimo Leuven after this integration. Both the layout team and the development team have continuously grown, serving tens of customers all over the Benelux.
Originally located in an old mansion in the heart of Leuven, just a stone’s throw from the historic town hall and the Oude Markt, Belgium’s longest bar, Dekimo Leuven relocated at the beginning of 2026 to a new site approximately 2 kilometers from its former location. This modern location offers improved accessibility, situated next to the R23, and provides ample nearby parking facilities, significantly improving mobility for both employees and visitors.
Dekimo Leuven develops embedded software and electronics tailored for the industry. It also has an extensive team of experienced PCB layout engineers, both in Belgium and in The Netherlands.
